High Yield Investment Programs ( HYIP ) are also high risk if you don't get in early and don't pay attention to

HYIP sites nearly always say that they "are investing your money in Forex with a team of experts" but in practice the
profits of the early investors are paid by the deposits of new investors - in other words, a Ponzi scheme named after the man who invented it. The plan depends on new money coming
in. Once new money stops then the program crashes.
If you are not greedy, you can get in and out early and make a good profit.
Pay in what you are prepared to loose (ie. the risk) and get a return on investment ( ROI ) of 120% to 200% in 1 to 100 days. 100% of that ROI is your initial
investment so the profit is 20% to 100%.
Work on the probability that if the offer is about 125% in 4 days or 20% daily for 6 days the site may last 20 days or less. If it is a long term program like
1% daily for 180 days then it may last 150 to 190 days or so therefore joining an HYIP program late may mean that you will not get your first deposit back. To give you an idea of

Deals listed as a 'game' where it will last as long as funds are available announce a start date and time. It is crucial to make your deposit within seconds
of the kick-off and similarly, make your withdrawal as close as possible to maturity. An hour later and there will be no money left!

You will see many 'Monitor' sites saying that the site is paying and is a great site to join. Most of these Monitors are paid by the HYIP site to invest back
into the program and also make money from referrals from the monitoring website. Therefore their comments may be discounted. If the Monitors are not paid you can be sure the site
is dead.
The other trick HYIP webmasters play is to hire surfers to post positive comments on forums like MMG (MoneyMakerGroup). Paid cheerleaders, as they are called,
are quickly banned by the forum but join again under another user name. You can spot them because the standard of English is often poor, they say the same things on different
threads and their post count is very low.
The excuses by webmasters for closing the program are varied. Common excuses are that the database has been corrupted and so details of payment lost; the site
payment account has been hacked and all the money stolen (by the webmaster?); the site is sold to a new owner and he needs time to take over (usually a really long time!); 'hit
and runners' have bled the site dry and blamed for the collapse for not reinvesting (but that is exactly the way to make a profit!).
As the HYIP program will always close sooner or later the webmasters take a lot of care to cover their tracks and operate behind proxies and work out of
Internet Cafes to cover their IP address. Some of threats from those who loose their money could land them in court if it was not for the fact that the whole HYIP market is a
confidence trick!
